Two Auroras

In the world two auroras can be seen:
One in the glory of cold,
Giving awe to those that are told;
Another in the ignorance of all,
Seldom seen by the short and tall.

Yet what's unseen is often the most valuable,
What's ignored is noticed only by the able.
It is glorious as dawn, mysterious like midnight;
Each person has their own colour,
And mankind forms their own aurora.

In it the wordy chronicle the pure scenery,
The factual invent and improve and renew;
The wish push and nudge to clear obstacles,
The joyful charm and share happy hours.
Together the sky is filled with green and purple.

Yet the little and mild gets their role:
They run, they work, they try, they serve.
Their experience is the building block of greatness.
They might be the blackness in the sky,
But they still shine in their own shade.

The world is like two auroras.
All things shine with iridescence,
And all men prized with their own value:
Because mankind forms their own aurora.
Within it, each person has their own colour.
