The Mystery

Entering the library with my friend,
I saw a mystery student,
Peering from the shelf behind;
Followed her as she moved.

Because a closer look might have
Put her to unseen forever.
I don’t dare,
(For some reason I do not know)
Though I know I should look at once.
I felt strange, looked at the entrance,
Watching the teacher as she opened the door.
She walked, and I saw her talking
Day after day.
Day after day,
She walked and, I saw her talking,
Watching the teacher, as she opened the door.

I felt strange, looked at the entrance.
Through I know I should look at once,
For some reason I do not know,
I don’t dare,
Put her to unseen forever.
Because a closer look might have...

Followed her as she moved,
Peering from the shelf behind.
I saw a mystery student,
Entering the library with my friend.

The Question

I had a question.

When I was passing the train station,
I saw a young man who was arrested,
Because of destroying the vending machines.
And he was waiting, for his punishment.

‘Oh, why did he do something so bad?’
I asked myself.

Oh why, did he do something so bad?
And, he was waiting for his punishment.

Because of destroying the vending machines,
I saw a young man who was arrested.

When I was passing the train station,
I had a question.

Helping the Orphans in China

Most of us are lucky to have a happy life. We can have enough food. We can also have lots of utensils, tools and nice warm clothes. We can even have smart phones and computers. We have a chance to go to school. We can also have clean water and fresh air. We even have loving parents to bring us up and a cozy home.

But in Mainland China, lots of orphans do not have parents. They can not have enough food to eat. They don't have good clothes. They cannot have clean water to drink. Some of them live in orphanages but some of them are homeless. They don't have a safe home. They are unhappy and they live a terrible life.

To help them, we can do a lot. We can raise money for them using ways such as selling flags and selling raffle tickets. They need a lot of things so we can donate food, books, toys and stationery to them. We can also sponsor them and provide them a better living place. If we have time, we can even visit them to know what they need. We can donate money to orphanages so that they can provide safe places for all orphans.

Most of them can help them, so why don't we help the orphans? Every little helps. No matter what you have, everyone should help them and change their lives. If all of us help, there will be fewer orphans in the future.

A Visit to Hong Kong Museum of History

I like visiting museums in Hong Kong. One of my favourite places in Hong Kong in Hong Kong Museum of History. It is in Tsim Sha Tsui. I have been to this interesting place thrice. It has some exhibitions on all floors,  a cafe and a souvenir shop on the first floor.

My most unforgettable experience there is in May 2017. I went there since there was a new exhibition about toys in the past. I went there with my father. First, I saw the exhibition about old toys in Hong Kong. I saw different toys in the past, from the time when Hong Kong was a small fishing village until the exhibition time. We could also try some old toys. It was interesting! Then, I took photos with the sculptures of cartoon characters, such as B.duck and Train Thomas. My father loves Star War characters so he took a lot of photos with them!

After having a delicious lunch in the cafe, I went to see another exhibition about Hong Kong history. I saw a lot of huge models about past in Hong Kong. I also watched a lot of videos and short movies about this theme. I felt ecstatic. Ather seeing the exhibitions, I went home by bus at four in the afternoon.

The trip is very meaningful. I learnt a lot of facts about Hong Kong history in this visit. I am going to visit there soon if there is a new exhibition there.

Note: The exhibition about toys in the past is closed but you can see it in the Hong Kong International Airport.

The Tale of Marcus's Theft

Note: The story is not real. Please do not report to the police due to this. If this reassemble any actual cases, it is due to coincidence.

Yesterday afternoon at a quarter to six, Amanda was in the living room. Her parents needed to work so she was alone. She was doing revision because she would have a test next week.

Suddenly, she heard a loud bang outside and looked through the peek hole. There was a tall man who was walking into her neighbour Marcus house, which was her next door. He stopped for a while before breaking into the house so Amanda could see his face. The thief has a long face with beard, a small mouth and small brown eyes. He was in a black T-shirt and blue jeans. He also carried a big bag.

'Is he a thief? Would he steal my neighbour's valuable things? Would he take away money from my neighbour's safe?' She thought. Amanda looked through the peek hole again. This time, he was looking for some valuable things. He took away Marcus's iPad, computer and iPhone. He broke the safe and took away all the money inside. Then, he put them in his bag.

Amanda was in panic--there were never any thefts in my building in these years, what should be done? She thought for a while and called the police. Two policemen came in ten minutes and caught the thief quickly. The thief not only stole valuable things, such as jewellery from the victim, but also destroyed Marcus's furniture. Marcus was very thankful to her afterwards and gave her a pen as a present.

The Adventure of Dizzy

Once upon a time, there was a fiecre white dog called Dizzy. It was hungry but its owner didn't give him any food, so it left its doghouse. It ran into the forest and found a piece of juicy meat near a tree. It looked delicious. Is was delighted and it ran quickly back home to enjoy it.

On the way, it crossed a narrow long bridge. On the bridge, it saw another dog with a piece of meat. Actually, it was its reflection but the dog didn't know and thought it was a dog looked like it. It also wanted to get its meat so it was eager. Therefore, it barked at the reflection but its meat dropped into the water. It was disappointed and ran back to its doghouse.

Its owner, Paul, found Dizzy and ran to it. He shouted, 'Why did you go away? I was very worried about you!' Dizzy was sad and thought, 'Why did I go out? If I didn't go out, I will not lost my food or got punished by my owner.' It learnt that it should not be greedy. It was a bad day for Dizzy.

A Journey to the Past

In January, I got a time machine from a fairy in the future. I travelled to the time when my father was six.

Then, I found I was in my father"s house. He had many brothers and sisters. Most of them were older than my father. Although there were many people in the house, I still found my father easily because of a photo of him.

He could get dressed, tie shoelaces and have a bath by himself. He couldn't wash his hair, make breakfast or bake a cake by himself. Therefore I taught him how to wash his hair by himself and he learnt it quickly. What a clever boy! Then I taught him to play Chinese chess but he often lost.

After that, we left home and played hopscotch on the hill where he lived. We also played hide-and-seek and rock-paper-scissors. When we were playing hide-and-seek, he twisted his ankle. Fortunately, it wasn't painful.

Finally, we went to a toy shop and I bought a set of Chinese chess for him. He also gave me a robot. Then, I went home. When I went back home, I told my father that I saw him when he was six. He was shocked but he didn't believe me. Therefore I showed the robot. My father was surprised. Then, he played with the robot again! I guess although he is fifty now, he still remembers his happy childhood.

In my Spare Time

In my spare time, I like to do many activities. For example, I like to read books and write passages.

I like reading because I can learn a lot from the books. I always read books and read them every day. I like to read books in libraries because they provide quiet places and a lot of books to read. If I can't read books in my spare time, I may be bored so I have a habit of bringing a book before going out. I have very few friends so I read myself. I prefer reading Chinese books than English ones. I get good grades at school because of my reading habit.

I also like writting passages because writing can help me to tell others my opinions and views. I sometimes write passages because of others' request, but mostly I write because of my interest. I write a wide range of passages such as stories, book reviews and autobiographys. I enjoy writing very much so I put my passages in my blog. If you want to see more passages, we are welcome to provide you more.

I like my activities but I want to develop more interest in Music or PE. I hope I have more chances to play sports.

My Terrible Experience at a Restaurant

Last month, my family went to a restaurant called Earth Restaurant. It was very famous in Tai Koo.

After we arived at the restaurant, we waited for half an hour to wait for three seats. After waiting, we started ordering food. I ordered a bowl of soup noodles with dumplings and a mango pudding. My mother ordered a dish of spaghetti with mushrooms. It was the most popular dish in this restaurant. My father ordered a dish of beef curry which was his most favourite.

We waited for fifteen minutes to get the food. I found a fly in my soup noodles and no mangoes in the pudding. My mother said, 'Ew! My spaghetti is very salty!' Dad also said that he found something awful in his curry and it was too spicy. Then, we found no napkins on the table. We asked a waiter for napkins but he replied us rudely. 'Get them yourselves!' he said. We looked for them everywhere and it wasted us a lot of time. After that, we asked another waiter to take our bill to us. We found that it was five thousand dollars!

We left the money on the table and ran away immediately. I will never go to this restaurant again!

Note: The restaurant and the experience are not real.

Mr.Bean's Chinese New Year in Hong Kong

During Chinese New Year, people always get together and celebrate the festival. This year, Mr.Bean went to Hong Kong to celebrate Chinese New Year for three days. He was really looking forward to the trip.

On the day before Chinese New Year, he set off to Hong Kong by plane. When the plane landed in Hong Kong, he slept against the exit door and blocked off it. The air hostess was confused but she could only wait until he woke up. The plane was delayed for four hours.

On the first day of Chinese New Year, he went to a Chinese restaurant for lunch. He didn't know how to eat dim sum so he used knives and forks to eat them but they kept falling off his fork. He even tried to use his mouth to eat them! He made a mess so a waiter told him to use chopsticks but Mr.Bean did not know how to use chopsticks so the food kept falling on the floor. Mr.Bean couldn't eat anything so he left the restaurant. At night, he went to Tsim Sha Tsui yo see a parade. In the parade, he played up and went into the parade venue to sing and dance with the performers. The audience laughed because of his amusing movements.

On the second day of Chinese New Year, he ate rice cakes for breakfast. Since he hadn't eaten rice cakes before, he used his mouth to eat them and the crumbs fell onto the floor. It was really messy. In the afternoon, he went shopping. He bought a lot of things such as tins of biscuits and lots of clothes. When he was paying the cashier, he realised that he had not brought any money with him! He could only use his golden ring to pay the money. Then, he took all the things in the shop and ran away. The cashier did not stop him since the ring was very expensive. At that night, he went to see fireworks on a ship in Victoria Harbor. During the show, he thought the fireworks were real flowers and tried to catch them. Therefore, he fell into the water and got all wet. People laughed at him but he didn't notice.

On the third day of Chinese New Year, he went to see the lion dance. When the lions were dancing, he roared at the lion since he thought the lions were wild animals. After the dance, he got stuck in the lion and danced through the streets. At night, he left Hong Kong and ended his funny journey.

In his journey, he got into a lot of trouble but he got away fourtunately every time because everyone thought he was hilarious. He was pleased with the trip and he hoped that he could go to Hong Kong next year.

Presidents Swapped their Brains

One day midnight, a flying saucer appeared on the White House in America. Suddenly, a yellow light shone on Donald Trump who was sleeping at that moment. After the light shone on him, he disappeared. Everyone was shocked about his disappearance.

The next day midnight, the same flying saucer appeared next to the Govermnent House in Hong Kong. All of a sudden, another yellow lisht shone on Carrie Lam and took her away. The next day, all the newspapers report this urgent news with the first ten pages.

In fact, they were taken to a spaceship by the flying saucer. Three aliens came out of the spaceship and told Mrs. Lam and Mr. Trump that they were aliens from Neptune. They were both shocked about it. The two presidents looked at the strange aliens. They were green and with only one eye so they looked scary. They also have four hands and three legs. Blue spots were also on their body. Afterall, they looked weird. Then, the aliens brought them to a wonderful room to rest and told them they wanted someone to test their new invention so they were brought there. The room was very comfortable and beautiful too. They were also tired so they fell on the bed and asleep quickly. Unfortunately, the aliens pressed on the 'brain' button on the swapping machine accidently. The machine started to work and swapped the two presidents' brains. The aliens were really frightened so they sent them back to Earth immediately.

The day after, Donald Trump woke up and saw that things were different. He was in Hong Kong but not America. He also saw a board written ' Welcome to the Goverment House'. He felt confused until he looked at himself at the mirror. He wasn't himself but Carrie Lam! He also needed to work as the Chief Executive of Hong Kong until he turned back to normal. Next, he proposed the conception of 'Hong Kong First' and levied lots of tariffs on other counties. The people of Hong Kong were very disatisfied with his performance and demonstrated on the street.

Carrie Lam did not do well either. At the same day, she woke up at she was puzzled because she was in the White House in America and she had Donald Trump's body. Then she soon realized that she needed to be the President of United States for a period of time. On that day, she cancelled all the taxes on China and announced that she would be friendly to China just because she had a good relationship with China. Some Americans thought it was a good idea, but some of them felt strange and disargeed.

That night, when Donald Trump and Carrie Lam fell asleep, the aliens took them back to their spaceship and switched them back to normal. Also, they took them back to their own houses.

The next morning, when they woke up, they found out that they were changed back to normal. They were happy about it. But when they were watching the news, they found out that Hong Kong and America were in trouble! They soon regretted their decisions and they learnt that they should think clearly and collect other's opinions before they make important decisions. Both of them had an unforgettable lesson in this amazing experience.

An Endangered Animal-Chinese White Dolphins

Endangered animals are animals that will soon become extinct in a few years if we don't take action. That means there may be none of those creatures left in the world after a short period of time. Sometimes the danger is caused by nature, but the main cause is because of human beings since some of them often destroy the nature.

Chinese White Dolphins are one kind of the endangered animals. Although they are called White Dolphins, they are pink in colour so they are also called 'pink dolphins'. They are also marine mammals: although they live in the sea, they are not fish but mammals instead. They can live up to forty years and their main food is fish. They use sounds to detect objects. This can help them to do things such as finding way, hunting food and escaping from danger.

However, the number of them have been decreased over the years. The main causes are human activities. For example, land reclamation, water pollution and overfishing cause more than ninety percent of dolphins' deaths.

Firstly, land reclamation affects their food and living. Chinese White Dolphins live in shallow water which is less then five metres deep. The reclamation work detroys the shallow water where they live. Also, the work affects the amount of fish. Therefore, the dolphins have less food to eat and die. The noise pollution also dicturbs them finding food. The work also increase ships traffic so their habitat is destroyed seriously.

Secondly, the water pollution causes diseases and the dolphins get sick. It also raises the risk of hunting fish. The toxic garbage which contains lots of chemials accumulates in the dolphins' bodies. It can kill them easily.

Lastly, overfishing leaves them will less and less food because they are fed with fish. The dolphins sometimes trapped or become entangled in the fishing nets and drowned finally too becuse of the same reason.

Most of the sea creatures are affected by water pollution, including dolphins, whales, and other many more marine animals. If we want to protect them and increase the numbers of them, we should stop polluting the sea or overfishing. Also we must try to clean up the large amount of trash that is already there.

An Unforgettable Experience-An Autobiography about My Dad

I am Louis Ip. I was born in old Hong Kong fifty-two years ago. Things were very different then.

I live in Sai Wan Ho with my wife and daughter in a tall building. I have lived there for ten years. Now, there are many high-rise buildings full of apartments where people live or work. But there was none of these things existed in the old days. We used to live in low-rise buildings or wooden houses.

I have many wonderful memories with my friends and my three brothers. We used to play together at every weekends but sometimes fun turns into danger. My most unforgettable experience happened when we were playing together.

I remembered that when I was fifteen, I played with my friends and one of my brothers near a quarry. There were no electronic or computer games at that time. We used to fly kites or ride bicycles at weekends. On that day, since it was sunny, we chose to ride mountain bikes.

At first, we rode on a hill happily. But when we were riding down a slope, something terrible happened. My brake broke down and my bike went faster and faster. Bang! I hit a wall and broke my left hand.

My friends were worried about me. Since there were neither public telephones or hospitals nearby, we went back home. My mother were furious about my injury. She was very disappointed with us. She punished us and I could not ride my bike in the whole summer holiday because I was injured. I could only stay in my bed and do my holiday homework.

I regreted about my choice on that day. Getting hurt was always my most horrible and painful experience in my entire life. I also learnt that I should follow safety rules at any time, especially when we are doing sports or other dangerous activities.

Life in old Hong Kong was simple but enjoyable, even though sometimes we may get into trouble. When my daughter asks me to tell stories about the past, I always tell her this unforgettable experience. I will never forget it.

Note: This autobiography was written about this writer's dad instead of the writer.

My Summer Holiday-the Interesting Courses

Summer holiday is the time for every student to relax, but also the time for us to learn something interesting. Since I have joined HKAGE, an association for gifted students to learn more, I enroll some courses to learn new things and spend time in the holidays.

In this summer holiday, I joined a poem-writing course, a drama course and two robot-coding courses from the association. I think the coding course about Jumping Sumo is the most interesting because I like programming very much.

In the robot-coding course about Jumping Sumo, I learnt some coding knowledge, such as functions and variables. I did some projects and control Jumping Sumo to walk around, detect symbols and jump. In the course, I also needed to control the robot to escape a maze. Finally, I made a complicated maze and got a very high score.

In the poem-writing course, I read some interesting and funny poems first. Then, the teacher took all of the classmates to a park to get ideas for our poems. Finally, I wrote a few poems about nature and made a book about poems with my classmates. I thought the hardest part was to make the words rhyme. Maybe I'm not suitable to write poems!

I think the courses were interesting and educational. I hope I can join more courses in the future.

Christmas

Christmas is a joyful festival which celebrates the birth of Jesus that happened two thousand years ago. Nowadays, people often celebrate Christmas by eating Christmas food and exchanging presents. However, my family did neither of these things and only celebrated it simply.

On the first two days of my Christmas holiday, I stayed at home and did my homework since I wanted to finish my homework as quick as possible so I could do anything I wanted.

The next day, I went to St Paul Convent School in the morning to have an interview. The school is big and has many STEM products. I liked it very much. After the interview, I went to Hong Kong Central Library to read books.

Two days later, my father took me to a bookshop to buy books for me since I got first in the last exam. I stayed there for about three hours to read and choose books. Finally, I bought a book about writing.

Overall, my Christmas holiday was joyful. I hope I will have a enjoyable holiday next time.

Chinese New Year

At Chinese New Year, Chinese people usually do a lot of things, such as cleaning the house and buying new clothes to bring good luck. My family also did some of those things since we didn't want to bring bad luck for the next year.

Before Chinese New Year, I cleaned my home and threw away some useless things. I also bought food such as cashews(my favourite nut), chocolate and almonds with my family to fill the candy box. The food was delicious so we ate a lot of them. I also needed to fill the candy box very often.

On the first day of Chinese New Year, I went to see my relatives. We talked about what we would do at Chinese New Year. We also ate dim sum, including rice rolls and beef balls. The time was joyful and I hope I will see them later. After that, I went shopping in Causeway Bay with my father. We bought some cheese tarts there and shared them with my family. The cheese tarts were sweet and tasty so we liked them a lot. After eating the tarts, we went back home and played board games.

I stayed at home on the next few days since I didn't need to visit any relatives. However, bad things came at the eighth day of Chinese New Year.

At that day, I felt sick after visiting my relatives. I went to see the doctor but the clinic was closed. Therefore I went to see another doctor in Shaw Kei Wan. The doctor said that I had caught a cold so I could not eat any snacks in the next few days. I was miserable about that.

Overall, my Chinese New Year was fun except the time when I got sick. I hope I won't get sick in the next holiday.

My Book Report-Hansel and Gretel

This book is about a family which has two children, Hansel and Gretel. The stepmother wanted to get rid of the children because she thought they are brats. She brought them to the forest. Gretel was sad because she can't found her house. Then, they found a candy house and came inside but the owner was a witch. She wanted to eat Hansel but the children pushed the witch into the fireplace. finally, the woodcutter found them and took them home.

I like Hansel because he was clever. He left some white pebbles and found the way home in the first time. He was kind to his sister and comforted her. I hate the stepmother because she is evil. She don't like the children and took them away. Luckily, the children can go home at last.

I like this story because it was exciting. If I were the stepmother, I would not take Hansel and Gretel to the forest just because I hated them. I would recommend this interesting book to my classmates.

My Book Report-Beauty and the Beast

This story is about a girl called Beauty who is beautiful and kind. One day,her father needed to go on a trip. He asked Beauty what she wanted. She asked for a rose.

After few days later, her father finished the trip and he was trying to find the rose that Beauty wanted. Unluckily ,he met a fierce beast. The beast allowed him to pick the rose but he must send Beauty to the castle and lived with the beast.

The next day, Beauty went to the castle and spent most of the time there. Every time the beast asked Beauty that would she love him,s he said no because he was a beast. Although the beast did everything for her, she didn't love him. She only wanted to see her family.

One day, her father was sick so she returned home. With her care, her father restored very much. But a few days later, she saw the beast was dying. After she said that she loved the beast, it turns to a handsome prince! She was happy. They married and live with each other happily.

This story is happy and touching. I like Beauty most because she has a kind heart and love the beast at last. I would recommend this book to all my friends and classmates.

A Brand New Festival-Swap Festival

Nowadays, there are a lot of festivals all around the world, such as Chinese New Year and Christmas. In this article, I am going to introduce a new festival which will be celebrated by people all around the world. It is the Swap Festival! People celebrate this festival since they want children to know that their parents work hard for them.

It is celebrated on the Friday before Christmas. Before this festival, homes are cleaned and decorated with job pictures since they think this will bring happiness in this festival. In the festival, children who are older than six years old go to work and their parents go to school in the morning. If the children stay at home, they will have bad luck and the next year they will become lazy. After that, those people who work hard will have a celebration.

The afternoon on the festival day is the time when people wear blue clothes which bring wealth. They have a celebration with parties. People exchange presents and endless supply of food is served. Games are also played. At night, people go out and watch performances such as magic and dance. Very loud music is played by the bands and job statues are carried through the streets. This is also the day when people stay up late.

I enjoy this festival very much since it is tiring but joyful. It is filled with fun, music and dance. Children can also learn how to work in this festival.

I hope everyone will enjoy this enjoyable festival.

Note: This festival is only a festival created by the writer and it is not real.

Problems Faced by Poor Children

In Hong Kong, we are very fortunate. We have nearly everything we need. However, natural disasters cause a lot of damage that makes a large number of people in different countries have a lot of problems. Today, I will tell you about different problems faced by poor children all around the world.

1. Housing
In Hong Kong, most of the people have houses. But in many poor countries, the people do not have houses. In Bangladesh, there was a strong typhoon. Strong wind and heavy rain destroyed most of the houses. In Haiti, a million people need to live in crowded camps since a big earthquake destroyed their houses.

2. Education
In Hong Kong, nearly all children can go to school. Unfortunately, many children cannot go to school. In Pakistan, the rebels destroyed schools. Therefore, fifty million children can't go to school. In Shanxi, there are very few schools and they are lack of stationery and textbooks so the pupils learn in a harsh environment.

3. Food and Water
In Hong Kong, we have plenty of food and water. However in some countries, the poor children are lack of water and food. In Guizhou, severe droughts and too little rainfall makes the ground cracks so plants cannot grow. There is very little food for the people to eat. In Pakistan, war and flooding makes many people need to queue up for food and water.

Many children in different countries need our help. I decided to put on a charity show to raise money for them. On the stage, my classmates will perform dramas, magic shows and other performances. Please call 6876 5432 for further details.

Note: The charity show and the phone number are not real.

My Dream Job

Everyone have a dream job, so do I. My dream job is one of the most popular jobs. I want to be a doctor. Although it is a popular choice, it is not an easy job.

Doctors need to wear a uniform. People look up to them because they trust that the doctors can cure people's sickness. Doctors have a lot of duties and responsibilities. One of the duties is to find out how the disease is caused. They also need to give medicine and do injections to patients. Doctors need to be careful so that they don't give the wrong medicine or do the wrong injection to patients. If they give the wrong medicine to patients, they will become sicker. Some of them may even die. If their is no medicine for a disease, the doctors will try to make a new kind of medicine to solve this problem. This is the most challenging work of a doctor.

Dr. Tse Yuen Man is a good role model for doctors. During the SARS period in 2003, she volunteered to work with SARS patients but she was infected and passed away at last. I think she was one of the bravest doctors in Hong Kong because she sacrificed for the SARS patients.

If I become a doctor, I will help a lot of sick people and make new kinds of medicine for them. For example, I read a lot of news about people dying because of cancer but they is no effective medicine for this disease so I hope I can make a new kind of medicine to save them. I think it is possible if I know more about medicine. Doctors need to be strong and fit so that they can do injections, surgeries and consultation for a long time. They need to be patient and caring so that they can treat the patients well. They also need to be loyal and responsible so that they can follow the orders from their boss.

I want to be a doctor when I grow up. I must prepare myself to take the challenge. I need to do more exercise so that I can be fit and strong. I also need to study hard and read more books about medicine. I even need to learn important skills that will help me to do injections and other medical proceduces with a careful and logical mind.

I hope I can help the sick people. I hope I can help the patients to become healthy again. I will enjoy my job that can contributes to society when I grow up.

A Film Review of the Boss Baby

The Boss Baby is about a baby who introduces himself as 'the Boss'. He is clever and he knows how to talk clearly and fluently. He is sent to Timothy's house since he needs to stop Francis who is creating puppies which will never grow old. Timothy does not like the baby and he wants to get rid of  him. Unfortunately, he fails and he is grounded. Boss Baby apologies to him and tells him about his plan. Timothy decides to help him. Can they stop Francis's plan? Watch the film and find out!

I watched this film last July. The film was impressive! The plot was surprising and unpredictable. I was also captivated by the plot twist. The special effects were amazing and the animations were interesting. The ending was touching too! It made me moved to tears when I saw that Boss Baby gave up his high-paid job and chose to live with Timothy.

My favourite character was Boss Baby. He was witty and friendly. Moreover, he is kind to Timothy although Timothy wants to get rid of him. His costume was hilarious and I burst into laughter when I was watching the film.

The film teaches us that teamwork is important. If we work together, we can do great things. Also, this film teaches us that good always defeats evil.

Overall, this film is fascinating, unforgettable and fantastic. I was gripped by the film. I was on the edge of my seat and could not take my eyes off the screen. I would recommend it for audience of all ages.

An Unforgettable Experience

Everyone have unforgettable experiences, so do I. My most terrible experience happened just before my Easter holiday.
Before the Easter holiday, I joined a debate course and I was excited about it since it was my first time to debate. However, I felt dizzy and unwell after school on the eleventh of April. I had a fever and went to see a doctor. The doctor said that I had a cold. Therefore I rested at home in the next few days.
However, I still had a fever five days later so I went to the hospital. The doctor asked me to have a X-ray check. Unfortunately, the results shows that I had pneumonia and needed to stay at the hospital for the next few days. I was disappointed with the results because I couldn't join the first four lessons which was held on the next two days.
Staying in the hospital ward was really boring. There were neither books or toys so boredom was the most terrible problem. I also couldn't see my parents after eight o'clock at night every day. I was very lonely at that time. Also, injections were done three times a day, and one of them was at midnight. How painful was it!
At last, I left the hospital last Sunday. In this experience, I learnt that health is valuable and I will care more about my personal hygiene since the doctor said the sickness was caused due to bad hygiene. I hope I will get well soon and join the last two debate lessons tomorrow.

My Book Report-Rumpelstiltskin

Rumpelstiltskin is an old fairy tale which is mainly about a beautiful girl called Kelly and a helpful goblin. One day, Kelly's show-off father boasts that Kelly can spin straw to gold. Therefore, the greedy king asks her to go to the palace because he wants her to spin straw to gold. But in fact, Kelly can not do that so she feels hopeless because she will die if she can't finish the task. Luckily, a goblin helps her but she needs to give something valuable to him. Kelly follows and she finishes the task to spin the bale of straw into gold. However, the king wants more gold and asks her to spin more. The goblin helps her again twice but she has nothing to give the goblin. So the goblin asks her to give him her first born child after she is married. The king is very glad after he sees the gold and he argees the prince to marry with Kelly. A year later, they have a baby. At this time, the goblin comes and asks for the baby. Kelly asks him to spare her son but the goblin says that he would not do so unless she guessed his name in three days. The next day, Kelly finds out all the boys' names and asks the goblin one by one but none of them are his name. She is frustrated and miserable about that. She wanders outside the palace and arrives at the market. She sees the goblin is singing and says his name in the song. Therefore she writes down his name. That night, the goblin comes to the palace. Kelly pretends that she doesn't know his name but she tells the right name at last. He is surprised and stamps his feet. He wants to leave forever but Kelly asks him to visit the baby sometimes. Finally, Kelly lives happily with her baby boy and the prince. The goblin also visits them now and then.

I think this book is interesting and enjoyable. The ending is surprising. The pictures are also beautiful but the words may be quite hard for younger children. From this book, I learnt that we should help others.

My favourite character is the goblin because he was helpful and helped Kelly. However, I think he should not take away her valuable things, such as her necklace and ring. If I were Kelly's father, I would not boasted to the king since it may cause trouble to Kelly.

Overall, this book was exciting and interesting. I would recommend it to all P.5-6 students.

My Book Report-Romeo and Juliet

Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy about the Capulets and the Montagues which had hated each other for hundreds of years. One day at a ball in the Montagues' house, Romeo met Juliet at her house and fell in love with each other. They wanted to marry but their parents did not allow them to do that because Romeo is a Capulet and Juliet is a Montague. Therefore, they found a fiar for help. The Fiar made a potion which could make a person sleep for forty hours. Juliet decided to drink it in her bedroom and pretended she was dead to marry Romeo secretly. Romeo helped her by leave his country for a day. Unfortunately, Romeo arrived earlier than he should and found her dead at her coffin. Therefore he killed himself because of her 'death'. When Juliet woke up, she found out Romeo is dead and killed herself. Finally, their plan failed and died but the two families got on well with one another from that on.

I think this book was touching because Romeo and Juliet died for each other in the end. It made me moved to tears. But if I were one of them, I would not kill myself just because my lover died. Although the book is tragic, it is a good book to read since it is a famous book. I would recommend to all teenagers.
