There was once a goddess of luck,
who by accident becomes a duck.
Tried reverting but failed,
She ran away and wailed,
And now to man fate sudden struck.
There was once a god beguilded,
Who ruled love since he was a child.
One day he was blind,
Arrows shot to mankind,
And now affections go really wild.
There was once a deity night,
Whose fear imposed was her whole might.
Yet then she had fainted,
Her brush madly painted,
And now darkness has won the fight.
